T-one week until we’re back in the best place. Ready to see some street style, meet new people that inspire, and wear some fabulous clothes. Below are my current Paris favorites.
Wine bars:
Les Oeillets — we went for the wine, but the food was outstanding. All the small plates were delicious and memorable. Comte x capers x honey ghee x hazeluts. Say less. Their boquerones were my fav.
The YARD — the best staff in Paris!! It’s such a local vibe. Their the largest sources of natural wine and are filled with so much knowledge. Below is my favorite bottle. The food menu is solid.
Deviant — Another great place for people watching. The natural wine selection is perfect as is the sardine toast.
Bang Bang — This southeast asian small plates wine bar is unexpectedly perfection. I literally go everytime I’m back in Paris. Their sauces are unreal.
Le Barav: Hidden place to people watch. Great wine and cockatils. Go to Delicatessan Place after for dinner.
Coffee shops:
Fringe — This lemon cake is probably my favorite dessert in Paris. Perfectly moist with tons of lemon (+ gluten free).
Mini cafe — Go for a morning run or walk to Île Saint-Louis. This hole in the wall is serving some of the best coffee and pasteries in Paris.
Dreamin’ Man — A little over-hyped? Maybe. The fashion is better than going to a show. Sip a cappuccino standing on the street. Make sure you do not wear athlesiure please.
Kott — I’ve probably already written about this. It’s my favorite coffee in Paris. The couple moved from Korea to start this shop in 2019. It’s so yum and in the best area, Oberkampf.
Cortado — a new coffee shop in Le Marais is a tough space to break into. Cortado has. It’s fabulous. Don’t take your coffee to-go and sip it out of their luxurious glass straws.
Recto Verso — The cutest and chicest couple run this place. They’ve collabed with Jacquemus and have yummy scones. Talk to a person you’ve never met here.
Walking paths:
Canal St. Martin is a great area to explore that’s usually not touristy. Tons of great restaurants adorn the canal. Grab ice cream at sucre glace. Their pear and yogurt combo slays.
Parc Buttes Chamont — Magical central park energy. A quiet spot for the best sunset views of Paris.
Vintage shops:
Saint-Ouen Flea Market — go to gaze at the furniture. It’s like the grand bazaar of Paris. You could literally spend a month here. It’s worst the journey
Dressing Particulier — Pop in here after a coffee and lemon cake at Fringe. They have very unique peices reasonably prices. Lots of Prada always.
Elephat Paris — I found them at the Marais flea market last year. Follow them on IG to figure out where they’re popping up next!
i feel like as soon as i saw the rachel cusk under the cappuccinos i knew you were traveling with @morgan - ICONIC i need to plan a trip <333
