Tastemaker - noun: a person who decides or influences what is or will become fashionable.
Having “taste” is subjective, usually self-proclaimed, and holds an air of condescension. In a world where we can feel like we’ve seen it all or it’s all the same, it feels almost novel now to see a fresh point of view. But, I don’t need to pile on. Read this and this.
I’ve decided to interview some people who offer this “fresh” point of view—or at least I think so. So, let’s meet Leila!
Leila grew up living at sea, exploring the Mediterranean until she was 10. Well, she’s never stopped exploring it. She now lives between Paris and Amsterdam, biking in fabulous outfits and running @realecommunication & @skincontactparis. You just simply want to hang out with her. Here’s a taste.

Being practical is never part of my style yet I always do match what I wear to the occasion, the mood or the day.
What is your clothing philosophy?
Clothes are like a way of expressing yourself. Getting dressed is like a way of manifesting; it sets the mood and intention of what you want to achieve.
